Age Categories Winter 2025/26

Adult: Born in 1999 or earlier (if no U25 ticket is offered, the adult ticket applies to those born in 2006 or earlier)
U25: Born between 2000 and 2006
Youth: Born between 2007 and 2009
Child: Born between 2010 and 2019
Mini: Born in 2020 or later ride for free (photo ID required)

Season dates Winter 2025/26:

Ski amadé Start & Finale (pre- and post-season):
until 19 December 2025 and from 11 April 2026

Ski amadé Live (main season):
from 20 December 2025 to 10 April 2026

Partial operation Skigastein
from 28 November 2025 to 11 December 2025 and from 7 April 2026


Journey to Gastein by Car

  • From/passing Munich  approx. 2 hours
  • From/passing Salzburg approx. 1 hour: Tauern Motorway southerly direction until reaching Bischofshofen, Gasteinertal Valley exit.
  • From/passing Innsbruck approx. 2 hours: Motorway passing Wörgl, then the Bundesstraße (main road) 312 passing St.Johann/Tirol until Lofer, Bundesstraße 311 then passing  Zell am See until reaching Lend, Bundesstraße 167 to Gastein or the motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, leaving at the Gasteinertal Valley exit, then the Bundesstraße (main road) 167 to the Gasteinertal Valley.
  • From the south pass by Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz and then you can reach the Gastein easily by car rail.
